How We Build Software: The Agile Process Explained

Software development is notorious for delayed deadlines and blown budgets. Here is how SAK Infotech uses Agile methodologies to ensure transparent, predictable delivery.

The traditional "Waterfall" approach to software development—where you plan everything for months, build it over a year in secret, and then launch—is deeply flawed. Market conditions change, user needs evolve, and technical assumptions are often wrong.

At SAK Infotech, we embrace Agile Engineering. This means we build software iteratively, in small chunks, delivering working features to you constantly.

The 2-Week Sprint

We organize our work into 2-week cycles called "Sprints." Here is what a typical sprint looks like:

1. Sprint Planning

Before the sprint begins, our Product Manager meets with you to prioritize the "Product Backlog" (the list of all features we want to build). We select a realistic chunk of work to complete in the next 14 days based on the engineering team's capacity.

2. Daily Standups

Every day, the development team has a 15-minute sync. They discuss what they did yesterday, what they are doing today, and if anything is blocking them. This ensures total transparency and prevents developers from getting stuck for days on end.

3. Continuous Integration & QA

As developers write code (whether in Next.js or Django), it is constantly tested by our QA team and automated CI/CD pipelines. We do not wait until the end of the project to test; quality is baked in from day one.

4. Sprint Review (Demo Day)

At the end of the 2 weeks, we show you working software. Not a PowerPoint, not a design file, but a live, clickable feature deployed to a staging server. You provide feedback, and we adjust our course immediately.

Why This Benefits You

  • Total Transparency: You know exactly what you are paying for and can see progress every two weeks.
  • Flexibility: If you decide halfway through the project that a feature isn't needed, we can pivot instantly without rewriting months of code.
  • Faster ROI: We aim to launch a Minimum Viable Product (MVP) quickly so you can start generating value, and then we iterate on it.
